Booking Terms & Conditions

 

First Dance NI ("us", "we") provide our services to you, ("the wedding couple",

"you", "customer") the following terms and conditions, which may be updated

by us from time to time without notice.

 

 

General

1. Deposit

A deposit equal to the cost of a single lesson must be paid in advance before a booking can be confirmed. This initial deposit equal to the cost of one lesson, currently £42, is non-refundable.

 

2.  Payment Balance
Subsequent lessons must be paid for, in advance, at each following lesson. (i.e. payment for the second lesson should be made at the first lessons, payment for the third lessons at the second and so on).

 

 

Lesson Cancellations / Date Changes

 

1.  Lesson cancelled by First Dance NI

 

First Dance NI reserve the right to cancel a lesson within 24 hours notice. Cancellation should only ever occur in the event of either:

 

-the choreographer becoming unavailable at short notice due to circumstances out of their control (for example: illness, injury or a family emergency, etc... or

 

- a studio becoming unexpectedly unavailable for use

 

In either of these cases First Dance NI will take all reasonable steps to reschedule the cancelled lesson. If the wedding is too close we cannot guarantee that this will be possible. In this case the lesson will be cancelled and any monies paid for the missed lesson(s) will be refunded to you.

 

 

2.   Lesson cancelled by You

 

A minimum of 48 hours notice prior to a confirmed lesson is required by the wedding couple to cancel a lesson.

 

Lessons cancelled by the wedding couple with less than 48 hours notice may incur a cancellation fee, which is only refundable at the discretion of First Dance NI.

 

The introduction of this policy has been precipitated by an increase in next and same day cancellations by some couples. We hope that our customers will understand that lesson slots cancelled on the day of, or the day before a scheduled lesson are impossible to fill with other couples due to their short notice, hence the unfortunate necessity to charge a cancellation fee.

 

 

 

Use of contact information

 

1. First Dance NI will only use provided contact details to communicate with you.

2. First Dance NI will never pass your personal data to anyone else.

3. First Dance NI may use your information to send you offers and news about products and services from First Dance NI by post, email, telephone or text.

4. There may be instances where it may be necessary for First Dance NI to communicate with you, for administrative or operational reasons relating to our services.
